Bookmarks
Developer: rauquenrol
3ds Max tool inspired by Maya that adds visual scene and object bookmarks for navigating, isolating and retiming animation.
What Bookmarks does
Bookmarks brings an idea from Maya into 3ds Max: visual bookmarks placed on scenes or on single objects to help organize animation. Each bookmark has its own color, range, name and comment, and a camera can be linked to it.
They are used to navigate the timeline, isolate specific time ranges, and move or scale keyframes to retime. The Auto Camera switch can be told which viewport ID to use, and a right-click on a bookmark selects the camera assigned to it. Animators handling long shots with several cameras and sections will find it easier to keep track of where things are.
