RandoMixer
Developer: rode3d
3ds Max plugin that generates scene, model or character variants by randomizing, swapping and scattering, stored as states.
What RandoMixer does
RandoMixer produces many variations of a scene, model or character in 3ds Max and keeps them organized in a collection of states. Tools randomize transforms and materials, swap objects and scatter them with collision detection.
Randomize Transforms moves, rotates or scales elements, Switch Places exchanges objects with filters for similar dimensions, and the scatter options include the whole surface, face normals, vertices, spline knots and pivots. An auto-populate furniture algorithm fills tables and shelves without collisions. Variants are viewable in the viewport, rendered as an image sequence or exported to the timeline as animation. Sets of objects can be defined, which suits product catalogs or character collections.
