Sapphire is Boris FX's library of stylized effects and transitions for After Effects, DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro, here sold as a perpetual licence. It is known for shape-driven wipes, lens flares, glow and defocus tools.
Wipes blend two clips through patterns like wedges, stars, rings, stripes, plasma, weave, moire and tiles, with an animatable percent and border width. The 2026.5 release adds a more characterful Advanced Defocus, Texture Ridges, a rebuilt Glare, five cinematic lens flares and over 100 new presets. An Effect and Transition Builder lets you design your own looks.
