RE:Vision Effects RE:Flex
Developer: RE:Vision Effects
Morphing and warping tool for After Effects and DaVinci Resolve driven by the host's own splines.
What RE:Vision Effects RE:Flex does
RE:Flex from RE:Vision Effects performs image warps and morphs using the splines and polylines already available in After Effects and DaVinci Resolve, instead of a grid of mesh points. The shapes do not have to be closed, and you can see the warp update as you drag them.
Vertices of matching geometries can be paired for fine control, and automatic registration can be combined with manual feature matching using tracking from Twixtor. Each shape can animate its own warp amount and timing, with variable transition between source and target shapes. Rendering offers anti-aliasing subsampling, MipMap filtering, GPU acceleration, and 8 or 16 bits per channel.
Key features
- Warps directed by host splines and polylines
- Interactive view while dragging shapes
- Match vertices between corresponding geometries
- Per-shape animated amount and timing
- Anti-aliased, MipMap-filtered, GPU accelerated output
