What BTracer does
BTracer converts moving objects and particles into curves in Blender. A former member of the Blender 4.1 bundle, it is found on the Create tab of the 3D Viewport sidebar.
At roughly 17 KB it requires no special permissions, carries a GPL v2 or later license and targets Blender 4.2 LTS and newer. Motion designers who want trails, ribbons or path drawings of moving elements can generate them quickly. The generated curves are ordinary Blender objects, so they can be given thickness, materials or further animation afterward.
