Cable Pro 2

Developer: Alexandre Brillant

Download Free

Blender add-on that links objects with realistic cables, with thickness, elasticity, wind and gravity settings.

What Cable Pro 2 does

Alexandre Brillant's Cable Pro 2 generates cables between one or more objects in Blender, so you can assemble elaborate tangles of wires while tuning how thick, stretchy, windblown and heavy they are.

Anchors position each cable. A cable can be converted into a real object that keeps its material, and groups of cables can be added at once and randomized. Scenes with wires, hoses, chains or power lines for sci-fi and industrial sets are the obvious fit.

Key features

  • Cables between one or many objects
  • Thickness, elasticity, wind and gravity
  • Anchor selection
  • Convert cable to a real object with material
