What Color Extractor does
Color Extractor is a Blender add-on for pulling colors out of reference images and putting them to use. It serves texture artists, modelers and designers who build palettes.
An eyedropper samples colors with duplicate filtering, and threshold-based filtering removes near-identical entries from the list. Selected colors can be averaged into one, applied as materials to the active object, or kept in a favorites list. Random colors can be assigned to selected objects or faces. The panel appears in Scene properties, the image editor and the viewport.
