ColorSwap
Developer: Jeroen Krielaars
Finds and replaces colors across a composition, selection or entire After Effects project, including keyframed colors.
What ColorSwap does
Jeroen Krielaars's ColorSwap is a script built for After Effects that works like search and replace for color. When a client changes a brand color, hunting through every shape, fill and effect is slow, and this does it in one pass.
The swap can be limited to a single composition, a selection, or the entire project. Keyframed colors have been supported since version 1.1, so animated fills are updated too. It is compatible with After Effects 2020 through 2026, and suits motion designers who maintain large template-based projects.
