What Connecter does
Connecter is a Blender add-on from DesignConnected that connects Blender with the separate Connecter asset management application. Through it you can append or link objects, materials and collections, and send Blender assets back to Connecter along with custom previews.
Drop a .blend asset from Connecter onto the viewport and you get Link & Place and Append & Place choices, covering objects with their materials, applying a material to something in the scene, or placing whole collections. Previews are rendered with Cycles or EEVEE and can be customized through Cycles.blend and Eevee.blend files.
