What Control Suite does
Control Suite is an ecosystem of related After Effects tools by Scott Black, built to speed up grouping layers, using shortcuts, selecting and navigating. Its parts share settings and behavior so they feel like one system.
Shortcuts can be assigned or remapped across the whole suite without conflicts. Notifications are unified, with consistent audio and visual feedback near the cursor. Settings live on disk and can be moved between teams or studios for quick reconfiguration. It is tested and supported on the 2024 and 2025 releases of After Effects, on Apple Silicon macOS and Windows.
