Cut to Beat
Developer: Key-Farmer
Analyzes music clips and drops numbered beat markers on a Premiere Pro sequence, with adjustable sensitivity.
What Cut to Beat does
Cut to Beat helps editors find places to cut when a piece is driven by music. Choose a WAV, MP3, MP4 or M4A clip, set a sensitivity level, and the panel adds numbered beat markers to the active sequence.
Sensitivity comes in Low, Balanced and High settings. A visual guide layer can be built from the markers, over 30-second or one-minute ranges, making the rhythm easy to see. Cleanup removes only markers the tool created and leaves your own untouched. WAV files are analyzed directly, while other formats rely on host decoding or a fallback.
Key features
- Beat markers from timeline or project audio
- Low, Balanced and High sensitivity
- Visual guide layer with 30 s or 1 min ranges
