CW Shader Buddy adds a sidebar panel for managing images and materials in several Blender editors: Shader, Image, Compositor, UV and Geometry Nodes.
An image browser shows thumbnails from 32 to 256 pixels with Object and Scene views, and images can be filtered by usage such as packed, linked or problem cases (missing, unused, dirty), with multi-term search by name or extension. Helpful for tidying texture-heavy scenes. Under the hood you get thumbnail image browser (32px to 256px) and filter by packed, linked or issues.
