What Decal Beast (Free Version) does
Decal Beast by Bala lets you place decals on 3D models by dragging them from a thumbnail gallery. Each decal snaps to the surface normal, and placement is a two-step process where you drag to rotate and scroll to resize.
Any PNG, JPG or BMP from any folder can become a decal, and the gallery supports category folders. Decals are stored as node groups attached to empties, so you can remove one at any time and the original material remains untouched, even on objects with several materials. Sidebar controls adjust each decal, and refresh and prune tools rescan and clean up. Graffiti, urban scenes and game assets are typical uses.
