What Discombobulator does
Discombobulator adds small mechanical detail pieces, known as greebles, onto a quad-based mesh in Blender. Created by Evan J. Rosky (syrux), it was once bundled with Blender and appears under Add > Mesh.
The add-on is about 8 KB, needs no special permissions, installs by drag and drop or from disk, and is released under GPL v2 or later for Blender 4.2 LTS and newer. Sci-fi modelers who need to turn plain surfaces into busy, industrial-looking ones can do so quickly.
