Discotext
Developer: Plugin Everything
Trim paths for live text layers in After Effects, with offset, stagger, cloning, dashes and motion blur.
What Discotext does
Discotext from Plugin Everything brings Trim Paths-style control to live text in After Effects. Start, End and offset controls reveal and animate text without converting it to shapes.
Cap styles include butt, square and round, with full dash, gap and offset options. Stagger per path and order modifiers distribute timing, and copies can be cloned and offset with transform controls. It works with most text animator properties at 8, 16 and 32 bits per channel, and has complete motion blur controls covering samples, angle and phase.
