What Dither Decay does
Dither Decay applies authentic dithering algorithms to footage in After Effects and Premiere Pro. The outcome is a gritty, low-colour, pixelated image reminiscent of old computer graphics and early print.
Several dithering methods are included, among them Atkinson, Stucki and Sierra, with Seed and Blend settings for adjusting the effect. It works with versions from CS6 through 2026 and comes from MEGAKRUNCH. It is a quick way to get lo-fi, retro-game or zine-print aesthetics without hand-processing frames.
