Pixel Encoder
Developer: MEGAKRUNCH
Turns footage into gritty pixel animation with modular presets and a chaos engine.
What Pixel Encoder does
Pixel Encoder by MEGAKRUNCH converts video into a rough, pixelated look in After Effects and Premiere Pro. Ten modular presets give quick starting points, colours can be customized, and a built-in chaos engine adds unpredictable variation.
Tone Detection offers five modes: Luminance (Rec.601), Average, Red, Green and Blue. A Shading Detail slider runs from 0 to 100 percent, and pattern controls include X and Y offset, Invert Pattern and Randomize Pattern. An Advanced section collapses away extra options.
