DMX
Developer: Sunova
Free, open source Blender add-on for DMX lighting visualization and rendering using GDTF fixtures and MVR scenes.
What DMX does
DMX, also called BlenderDMX, helps lighting designers visualize stage lighting in Blender. It is free, open source and based on the GDTF specification and MVR scene format.
GDTF device definitions come from the integrated GDTF Share library and cover static and moving fixtures, LED bars, lasers, cameras and trusses. MVR scenes carry fixtures, trusses, objects, textures, addressing and IDs on import and export. Eevee renders in real time for dynamics while Cycles gives photorealistic output. Show designers can pre-visualize concerts and events.
