What Extra Lights - Photometric Lighting does
Extra Lights adds physically based lighting presets to Blender. More than sixty presets based on real fixtures are placed in the Add menu, organized by type and strength.
Over thirty IES profiles produce believable patterns, and more than thirty point, spot, area and sun presets sit alongside them. Strength is set in lumens rather than watts, and color temperature in Kelvin. It works in Cycles and Eevee. Interior visualizers and photographers who think in real units can light scenes predictably.
