What Fast Bokeh Pro for OpenFX does
Fast Bokeh Pro is a Rowbyte plug-in for DaVinci Resolve, Fusion and other OpenFX hosts. Given a depth map, it blurs the image the way a real lens would, producing a shallow depth-of-field look from footage or renders that were sharp throughout.
Render time does not grow as the blur gets larger, and edges between foreground and background are handled carefully. You can pick Gaussian, Spherical or Polygonal (HQ) blur, or supply your own image as the bokeh shape. Zone Control lets you segment the scene into separately treated areas, and GPU acceleration through Metal or Compute keeps playback responsive. Compositors and colorists will find it quick to dial in.
