CRT
Developer: Nx Color
DaVinci Resolve effect that simulates CRT displays with phosphors, masks, bloom and glass for authentic retro looks.
What CRT does
CRT by Nx Color simulates the look of a cathode ray tube display inside DaVinci Resolve. The simulation is built from phosphors, masks, bloom and glass, rather than a flat scanline overlay, to get closer to how old screens really appeared.
Resolve 19, 20 and 21 are supported. The listing is for version 1.0, the initial release dated February 20, 2026, and a demo video is available. Editors and colorists who want retro television or monitor styling for footage, games or music videos can apply it as an effect on clips.
