Fast Cloth Dynamics - Easy Tear

Blender add-on that wraps the experimental Cloth Dynamics modifier in one panel and lets you tear cloth along a drawn line.

What Fast Cloth Dynamics - Easy Tear does

Fast Cloth Dynamics makes Blender's experimental Cloth Dynamics modifier easier to approach. Mesh preparation, pinning, colliders and simulation controls are collected into a single panel rather than scattered across the interface.

The headline feature is drawing a line on the cloth and tearing it precisely along that curve, without stair-stepped edges. A Clean preset gives neat straight tears, while the Fabric preset leaves frayed threads for ripped-cloth looks. Pinning vertices takes one click, and any object can become a collider bound to the cloth in two. Play, pause and reset buttons sit in the same panel.

Key features

  • Draw-to-tear along a sketched line
  • Clean and Fabric presets for straight or frayed tears
  • One-click modifier setup and subdivision
  • Pin and unpin selected vertices
  • Collider setup in two clicks
