FX Grainny DCTL
Developer: Nikita Petrovich
DaVinci Resolve DCTL for a graphic novel look using posterization, pixel mix, grain shading and contour lines.
What FX Grainny DCTL does
FX Grainny DCTL turns footage into a graphic-novel look in DaVinci Resolve, using grain shading and high-contrast treatments. The look is built from Posterization and Pixel Mix settings, with a Steps slider where fewer steps create a stronger, more stylized result.
Blend sliders control how visible the grain and texture are, and Colorize works best when posterization Steps are five or fewer. Source Contour adds outlines, and their color can come from HSV parameters, color picker controls or by inverting the image within the contour area. Hovering shows tooltips, and you apply the effect by putting NP FX Grainny on a clip or node.
