Blender add-on for realistic customizable planets with physically based volumetric atmospheres and image-based clouds.

What Geosim does

GeoSim creates planets in Blender in seconds, pairing a shader node group with physically based volumetric rendering. It builds atmospheres, clouds and fully textured planet surfaces for space and sci-fi shots.

Atmosphere density, thickness and color are controlled inside the GeoSim shader, and image-based clouds can be supplied. Space visualization artists and sci-fi filmmakers can generate convincing planets quickly. Because everything is controlled through a shader node group, the planet stays adjustable and works well for animation or look development.
