Glasswork
Developer: Pixel Sorter Studio
A GPU-rendered glass filter that adds frosted or distorted glass patterns over footage in After Effects and Premiere Pro.
What Glasswork does
Glasswork, made by Gabriel Grenier and Vincent Raineri under Pixel Sorter Studio, lays a pane of textured glass over your footage. It renders on the GPU and works in After Effects, Premiere Pro and Media Encoder.
Four patterns are available: Stripes, ZigZag, Rhombuses and Waves. Size, angle and frostiness are adjustable, so the same pattern can range from a faint ripple to heavy obscuring frost. Windows and Mac are supported, on Intel and Apple Silicon. It suits title backgrounds, privacy blurs and stylised transitions where a shower-door or bathroom-window look is wanted.
