What Lockdown does
Lockdown tracks surfaces that bend and flex as well as flat ones inside After Effects. Once a surface is stabilized, you can clean up or paint within the stabilized composition and the work links back onto the moving footage.
The Paint Link workflow supports frame-by-frame animation and even Photoshop's AI generative fill on moving shots, and a Composite Brush offers a colour selector and modifier. Tracking data can go to Cinema 4D as a C4D file, or reach Blender and other 3D apps through Alembic, so objects can be attached in 3D and the mesh relit.
