What mamoworld BeatEdit does
BeatEdit analyses a music track and marks its beats on the Premiere Pro timeline, so cuts can follow the rhythm either automatically or by hand. The detection uses the IBT beat tracker and the MARSYAS framework.
Markers can be placed on the sequence or on clips, and they work with Premiere's Automate to Sequence function to assemble a cut. Beats can be selected randomly for variety, and extra markers can be added at other rhythmic points. Beats appear as blue bars and play as clicks, a panel shows bpm and selection count, and work area support limits edits to a range.
