Marker Shortcuts
Developer: 1P2D
Jumps the Blender playhead to timeline markers by typing short custom codes.
What Marker Shortcuts does
Marker Shortcuts is a Blender plugin from 1P2D that gives timeline markers their own typed shortcuts. Instead of scrubbing or stepping through markers, you enter a short code and the playhead goes straight to the matching one.
Shortcuts can be multi-digit numbers, multi-character names or whole words. After typing, the jump happens after an adjustable delay or immediately when you press Enter, and Esc cancels. Codes can be assigned from the add-on preferences or from the markers themselves, speeding up navigation in long animations.
Key features
- Custom shortcut strings per marker
- Jump after a timeout or instantly with Enter
- Numbers, names and full words supported
- Esc to cancel
