MaskPNGscatter
Developer: Ratio
After Effects tool that scatters hundreds of copies of a PNG or layer randomly inside a matte or mask.
What MaskPNGscatter does
MaskPNGscatter from Ratio fills a matte or mask area in After Effects with randomly placed copies of any PNG or layer. It can place hundreds of copies for particle-style looks, decorative overlays and general motion graphics.
Count, size, rotation, position offset and global scale are adjustable, and animating the random seed adds movement. Several instances can be stacked for layered results. It is lightweight and fast, needs no keyframes to get going, and gained 16bpc support in version 1.1.
