What Foldspace does
Foldspace by Denis Mozgovoy lets artists build and animate bent, curved 3D surfaces right in After Effects, going further than the native tools. It is GPU-accelerated for responsive editing.
Control points are animatable and can be attached to other layers to form dynamic rigs, while UI controls shape each surface's curvature. A per-surface material system lets any layer act as a texture. Render passes include Final Render, Depth, Normals in world and view space, and UV, and any camera layer can be chosen when Use Composition Camera is on.
