MatColeX

Developer: budijozz

Download Free

Blender add-on for collecting, organizing and applying shaders from a folder-based interface in the 3D Viewport.

What MatColeX does

MatColeX puts a material library inside Blender's 3D Viewport. Materials are gathered, sorted into folders and categories, and applied without leaving the viewport.

Only the most important parameters of complex node groups are exposed, which keeps the panel manageable. Materials apply onto the active material slot, even assigning to faces in Edit Mode, and can be added, renamed and organized in the same place. It suits users managing large shader collections and needs no special permissions.
