MatSnap AI
Developer: cmjohncheng
AI-powered 3ds Max script that makes seamless PBR materials from images or text prompts and wires them into Corona.
What MatSnap AI does
MatSnap AI generates materials inside 3ds Max from a pasted screenshot, a photo or a text description. A clipboard image can be clicked on to create a clean, high-resolution diffuse texture, while text prompts produce flat textures that respect strict 2D perspective.
From the diffuse, it works out ambient occlusion, displacement, roughness, bump and normal maps automatically. An interactive seamless editor adjusts X and Y offsets and gradient blend softness, with live grid previews. One click builds a complete Corona Physical Material with correct gamma in the Slate Material Editor, and controls for bump, displacement and roughness sync directly to the active material. It targets Corona Renderer users.
