Mesh Encyclopedia
Developer: GK Tools
Offers a library of over 500 mathematical and artist-friendly meshes and curves, inserted from the Blender viewport.
What Mesh Encyclopedia does
Mesh Encyclopedia provides a continuously updated collection of production-ready forms. Its contents range from polyhedra to parametric and implicit surfaces and triply periodic minimal surfaces, and anything can be added straight from the 3D Viewport.
The library includes Johnson solids, prisms, antiprisms, knot-based meshes and higher-genus tori, among others. Designers, mathematicians and motion artists can find unusual shapes ready to use without sculpting or scripting them. Since the shapes are built mathematically, they can be inserted cleanly and used as starting points for sculpts, art or analysis.
