OBJSequence
Developer: Liam-Courtney
Blender extension that imports OBJ files as one mesh sequence updating while you scrub or play the timeline.
What OBJSequence does
OBJSequence handles numbered OBJ frames, such as simulation or sculpt cache exports, without filling the scene with objects. One mesh simply updates while you scrub or play the timeline.
Import is under File > Import > OBJ Sequence, where files can be filtered by filename prefix and the animation start frame can be set. Artists working with geometry exported from other software can view and render it as one animated object.
Key features
- OBJ files become one playable mesh
- Import from File > Import > OBJ Sequence
- Filename prefix filtering
- Configurable animation start frame
