Perfectly Normal
Developer: Seth-Adam-Trowbridge
Blender add-on for editing custom face-corner normals through movable loose vertices with Geometry Nodes tools.
What Perfectly Normal does
Perfectly Normal is a Blender add-on by Seth-Adam-Trowbridge that treats face-corner normals like mesh components. It provides four Geometry Nodes tools in a Normals category, where custom normals are defined by editable loose vertices named Manip Verts.
Manip Verts are detached vertices that you move in edit mode like any other geometry. The (Re)create tool gives each face corner its own Manip Vert, and can optionally keep just the isolated ones, and a Tweak tool adjusts them. It gives game artists and stylized shading fans direct control over how surfaces shade.
Key features
- Four Geometry Nodes normal tools
- Manip Verts define face-corner normals
- Position normals in edit mode like vertices
- (Re)create adds one per face corner
- Tweak tool for adjustments
