Plainly Videos is a free, open-source extension (Apache 2.0) that connects After Effects to the Plainly platform for automated video production. People who already use Plainly can work with it without leaving the application.
Projects can be exported with all assets collected into a single ZIP, or uploaded directly for automated rendering. Cloud renders can be previewed inside After Effects for quicker feedback, and syncing across the team helps avoid version mismatches. After Effects 24.0 or newer is required. Teams producing templated video at volume get a smoother handoff.
