What Playblast does
Playblast is a Blender add-on by carlosmu that creates animation previews while keeping their settings apart from your final-render settings. Output path, format, codec and resolution are defined once in the add-on preferences, so you stop changing them back and forth.
Quick settings let you override some preferences on the fly. Ctrl+Shift+F12 runs a playblast and Ctrl+Shift+F11 replays the last one. Additional operators create a turnaround camera and open the folder containing your playblasts, which makes review loops faster for animators.
