Cartoon Moblur from Plugin Everything produces a graphic motion trail behind moving layers in After Effects, derived directly from the layer's transform animation. It is aimed at flat, minimal, 2D and cel looks rather than photographic blur, so logos, transitions and icons gain energy without losing their clean shapes.
A shutter angle sets the trail length, and colour can be a flat fill or a gradient ramp. Opacity and Samples adjust the look and quality. It works with every transformation, 3D and parented animation included, and with bezier path motion. An alternate motion source can be applied to an adjustment layer so everything beneath it is affected at once.
