Gabor Horvath's Prelimtools targets makers who prepare flat designs in Blender. Its Fill with inset function draws a sequence of concentric outlines inside a shape, or outside it for outsets.
An Inset Width value, positive or negative, sets the spacing between outlines, and Maximum Outline Number limits their count. The add-on can also produce bending patterns for wood laser printers and includes a wood box joint tool. Laser-cutting and CNC hobbyists get patterns ready for fabrication.
