Prisms
Developer: badbright
A Blender Cycles add-on that places nine lens-filter style glass prisms in front of the camera.
What Prisms does
Prisms recreates the optical effect of prism filters used in photography and cinematography. It adds glass prisms in front of your camera in Blender's Cycles renderer, producing the multiplied, distorted images these filters are known for.
Nine prism designs are modeled on real filters. After selecting a camera, you pick one from the drop-down, and it is parented and positioned according to focal length. Index of refraction controls the distortion, and the prism can be rotated, moved or scaled on each axis from the panel. Cinematic and music-video style renders gain a physical-looking effect.
