Pseudo Object Layer
Developer: TinkerBoi
A Blender add-on that groups objects into temporary layers you can hide, lock, solo or export.
What Pseudo Object Layer does
Pseudo Object Layer gives Blender a lightweight layer system for temporarily grouping objects without rearranging the outliner. It is meant for those moments when you need a quick set of objects to act together, but a permanent collection would just add clutter.
Each layer can be toggled on or off, soloed, framed, selected or moved into a collection. You can also hide or unhide its objects, control render state, key visibility, toggle modifiers and particles, change the display mode, lock selections and send a layer out as FBX. It helps anyone working in busy scenes who wants fast visibility control.
Key features
- Toggle or solo a layer's objects
- Switch modifiers, particles and display mode per layer
- Hide, lock and key visibility or render state
- Move a layer into a collection or export it as FBX
