Punchit
Developer: MACHIN3
Blender add-on from MACHIN3 for robust negative manifold extrusion that punches into or through objects.
What Punchit does
PUNCHit is a sturdier replacement for Blender's own Extrude Manifold, digging into or all the way through an object. It works with single or multiple faces as well as partial vertex or edge selections.
The direction can come from averaged face normals, per-vertex normals, a chosen edge or an axis of the 3D cursor, and there is numeric input while dragging plus a preview of the exit. Automatic geometry cleanup follows. Hard surface modelers cutting holes and recesses get consistent results.
