What Quick Depth 3 does
Quick Depth 3 by Baskl.ai estimates depth from ordinary video and produces a depth map for use in After Effects. Rendering is local, either on GPU or CPU, on Windows and on Macs with Apple Silicon.
A Time Consistency mode smooths results from frame to frame, and Quality Boost processes tiles to retain more detail. It is up to twice as fast as Quick Depth 2 with improved quality. Compositors can use the maps for fake depth of field, fog, relighting or 2.5D camera moves without needing 3D renders.
