Quick Rail Sweep & Profile Extrude

Developer: Haoyan Shi

Download Free

Creates rail sweep and profile surfaces from curve vertices directly in Blender Edit Mode.

What Quick Rail Sweep & Profile Extrude does

Quick Rail Sweep & Profile Extrude builds surfaces from curves while you stay in Edit Mode. Select rail and generation curve vertices, then right-click to generate.

One generation curve can sweep along a rail, be guided by two rails at once, or transition between two generation curves guided by a rail. A parameter panel fine-tunes the result. It brings NURBS-style surface creation to mesh modeling. Among its capabilities are rail sweep from generation and rail curves, two-rail guidance and transition surfaces between curves.

Key features

  • Rail sweep from generation and rail curves
  • Two-rail guidance
