Random Extrude
Developer: TheMan
3ds Max script that extrudes selected Editable Poly faces by random amounts between a minimum and maximum.
What Random Extrude does
Random Extrude saves manual effort on Editable Poly objects in 3ds Max by extruding every selected polygon by a different random amount. You set the minimum and maximum values, and it handles the rest automatically.
The result is an uneven, skyline-like surface that is quick to produce for cityscapes, abstract walls, panels or greeble detail. A notice is shown when the object is not an Editable Poly. Installation works by dragging the InstallerDragnDrop.ms file in, and a toolbar button is added under the ManniiCode category. It works with 3ds Max 2022.3 and later.
