Render Tools
Developer: estebanponce
Blender add-on that renders ID passes and transparent object masks for compositing, with options to bake IDs to textures.
What Render Tools does
For Blender, Render Tools makes ID color passes and transparent object masks for compositing. The ID Pass Tool assigns random ID colors across a scene and renders the finished pass in two clicks, while specific colors can be set per object or per material.
The Mask Pass Tool renders selected objects against transparency so they are ready for compositing, and it handles objects with motion blur or depth of field in stills and animated sequences. ID colors can also be baked into a texture, using the existing UVs or an automatic unwrap. Mask selection presets store your picks, a Fix Ghost Objects option is available, and ID rendering offers an alpha transparency choice.
