What Repeater does
Repeater is a free After Effects effect that makes copies of a layer without forcing you to precompose text or turn it into a shape. Because the copies stay live, you can keep editing the original and see the repeats update.
It handles solid, footage, shape and 3D layer types, creates copies in any direction and has an optional mirror mode. Text animators such as tracking, line spacing and multiline text are compatible. Copies inherit parented transforms and can be offset in time. Rendering is 32bpc, with Multi-Frame Rendering and native Apple Silicon support. It inherits motion blur but doesn't draw its own.
