Rocket Lasso Mesh To Spline
Developer: Rocket Lasso
Converts Cinema 4D mesh edges, polygons and outlines into parametric splines that stick to animated surfaces.
What Rocket Lasso Mesh To Spline does
Mesh To Spline from Rocket Lasso turns polygon geometry into splines you can render stylistically. It extracts edges, polygons and outlines in separate modes, and splines can be placed using Fields, Selection Tags, angle thresholds and facing angles.
The splines follow animated meshes by sticking directly to the surface, and segments can be colorized, for example with random color or grayscale. Results can then be rendered with Hair, Sketch & Toon or third-party renderers. Motion designers wanting wireframe, line-art and technical looks on moving objects will find it useful.
