Rodenburg PhotoMatch
Developer: Rodenburg
Analyzes a photo to derive a matching 3D camera in Cinema 4D and rebuild simple geometry for compositing.
What Rodenburg PhotoMatch does
Rodenburg PhotoMatch examines a loaded image and works out the matching 3D camera in Cinema 4D, including focal length and position. With the perspective matched, 3D elements can be integrated into background photographs.
It also helps rebuild simple geometry from indoor and outdoor photos, and reconstructed parts can be used for projection mapping, as a shadow catcher or as a matte object. It runs in Cinema 4D R13 to R19, with R20 support through the free Insydium Bridge Plugin. Architectural visualizers and matte painters will find it useful.
