What Rowbyte Aura does
Rowbyte Aura is a procedural plugin for After Effects that creates vector-like waves in 3D space. Like a particle system, it draws hundreds of thousands of high-frequency waves that evolve over time, all accelerated on the GPU with a quality setting to balance speed.
It respects the After Effects 3D camera, including depth of field bokeh and aperture. Turbulent noise bends the waves, and Band, Surface and Dots modes change their look. Waves can follow custom shapes from a polygon generator or masks, and layers can serve as color maps. Multi-Frame Rendering and SVG sequence export are supported.
